It’s Monday May 7, 2018—IF you happen to be on the hunt for a last-minute gift or two, you might like a few of my faves.
Jennifer Lynn Naturals is a fairly new chemical- vegan- and gluten- free cosmetic company. It was created by a professional makeup artist who knows from personal experience the importance of clean beauty. Jennifer says this on her website
With a six-month-old baby and a home to care for, I developed a high fever which I believed was brought on by the Flu. I suffered excruciating pain in my ribs, neck and shoulder blades, migrating pain throughout my body and was bed-ridden for 3 long months.I went from Doctor to Doctor; misdiagnosis to misdiagnosis.
Eventually, Jennifer learned she had Lyme disease. It was then that she realized what we put on or body is just as important as what we put in it. And that’s how Jennifer Lynn Naturals came to be.
So far, I’ve tried the JLN lip gloss and lip scrub. Both fall into my A-MAZING category! The products work great but it’s the delicious scent of strawberries and cherries that suck me in.
JLN products are infused with organic butters, botanical extracts and natural mineral pigments.
Like Butter For The Nails
This is THE Best chemical-free nail polish I have ever tried. It wasn’t always like that, though. I discovered butter London nail polish about six years ago. It was a big disappointment. The product would’ve gotten an F-rating from me back then. But things have changed and so has this brand.
This product is now A-MAZING! It follows through with all of its promises. You can wear this up to ten days without any chipping. It has a gel-like cushion finish and shine. Hardens and dries with natural light. It’s fade-resistant. The Bamboo Extract helps to promote stronger nails and it prevents breakage and peeling.
The icing on the cake is that butter LONDON does not add Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, DBP, Toluen, Camphor, Ethyl Tosylamide, Xylene, or TPHP to any of its nail product formulas.
Even if you know someone who doesn’t paint their nails, the clear base coat is a must have. But there is a caution: this product still has a strong smell. If you are fighting cancer, have asthma and allergies or are sensitive to odors please proceed with caution. I use this outside only.
Best Beauty Oil—Maybe Ever
$18.00-$45.00 (depending on size).
Cancer and chemotherapy made a mess out of me and my skin. I developed Rosacea, sensitive prone and extremely dry skin.
My BFF introduced me to this oil. Up to that point I’d tried so many other products I was skeptical. But, I’m so glad I gave it a try. It is A-MAZING! It balances the skin, helps with moderate breakouts and brought my skin back to life. It’s the combination of oils that make this a must have for anyone struggling with skin issues (or menopause).
You Got To Bag it up!

Flowers are the number one gift to give on special occasions. Have you ever seen the big beautiful bouquets celebrities post on Instagram and found yourself wishing you could either send something like it as a gift, or buy an arrangement for your own home?
Well, Costco makes it easy and affordable for everyday people to do. You can pre-order but I recommend saving that money and buying a bunch of flowers yourself and either arranging them in a vase and delivering them yourself, or deliver as is and let the recipient vase them up. I love buying several dozens of roses and hand delivering them.
