This week, CVS and CVS Health announced the launch of QuickRenew, an online contact lens prescription renewal tool.
“We continue to adapt and evolve our digital offerings in response to the pandemic. This addition to our optical site gives customers a new way to fulfill an important health care need safely and confidently from the comfort of their homes,”Michele Driscoll, Vice President of Customer Engagement, ExtraCare, Digital, & Promotion, CVS Health.
QuickRenew digital screening is available on the CVS Optical website and takes less than 15-20 minutes. You’ll get a vision exam and results by a board-certified ophthalmologist licensed in your state.
And you can do all from the comfort and safety of your own home.
If appropriate, they’ll issue you a valid prescription you can use to buy contact lenses anywhere in the United States.
All you need is a smartphone or a computer with a webcam and a microphone.
You should know:
QuickRenew only looks at how well you can see, not the health of your eye so our friends over at CVS recommends you see your eye care doctor for a comprehensive eye exam.
