It’s time for #throwbackthursday #stories ————————————— Say hello 👋 to @kimbaldonado Kim Baldonado is a six-time Emmy Award-winning reporter for NBC4 Southern California. ————————————————————Way back when...I knew I wanted to have some kind of career in broadcast/journalism. But I wasn’t sure how to get there or how to get a job locally. One day, while driving from point A to Point B, I saw Kim and a news van parked on one of the streets I was traveling on. Kim was standing in the street with a cameraman waiting to go live. I was a little shy about doing so, but, I pulled over and asked someone on her crew if they thought she would talk to me. ————————————— He said “Oh yeah. Sure! She’s very nice.” After Kim was finished with her live report, she came over and we chatted for a bit. She answered all of my questions and gave me some tips, too.
